Cannabis 3.0 must include opportunities + resources for communities of color.

The legal cannabis industry is worth $3 billion in California alone.

Supernova Women is excited to announce a cannabis workforce development program in partnership with nonprofit partner, Hood Incubator and licensed distributor, Breeze Distro. ⁣

This workforce development program funded by the City of Oakland aims to engage those of us harmed by the War on Drugs.⁣
⁣
This program will educate, train, and place BIPOC professionals into non-entry level cannabis industry positions! This paid training will take place online and-on-the job, at $20 per hour.⁣
⁣
The goal of the program is to bring greater fairness and diversity to the cannabis industry by providing training, financial support, and mentoring for the next generation of cannabis leaders. ⁣
⁣
The establishment of this workforce program offers a safe and structured pathway to well-paid careers in the cannabis industry.⁣
